Kari started bridge two seasons ago, when a neighbour brought her along. The bidding she could learn - the questions were the problem. Asking what does that double mean? at the table, with the clock running and three experienced players waiting, felt like an exam she hadn't studied for.
Now she opens her SystemCard link on Wednesday evening, at home, with a cup of coffee. She reads what tomorrow's opponents actually play - in plain words - and nobody sees what she looked up.

Anders plays division bridge at the weekend and club bridge on Tuesdays. His partnership card is a serious document - relay responses, defensive agreements, the lot. For years it lived in a plastic pocket that nobody ever opened, while he answered the same clarifying questions round after round.
